Our annual competition invites 8 top local teams from the area to showcase their skills to ultimately progress to the finals at Goodison.

The group stages were played at Jericho Lane hub consisting of 2 groups of 4 teams, with the top 2 from each group progressing to the semi-finals and final at Goodison Park.

Well done to Mags Redbull, Rainford Rangers Huyton Allies and Kingsley who all progressed to the semi-finals.

The final against Mags Redbull and Kingsley was very close, with both teams not wanting to give an inch , chances were limited with the game finishing 0-0. Once again, the dreaded sudden death penalties came into effect.

Kingsley were up first and scored with the first spot kick putting pressure straight away on to the Mags Redbulls

penalty taker, the penalty was good, but it took a fantastic save from Joe C the Kingsley GK to deny the goal and win the cup for Kingsley.

Great News for the college as Joe C is going to be one of our new students next year along with a number of the Kingsley team.

We must thank Elle Barnes-Reen and her staff for making the competition at Goodison run smoothly and making it a great experience for all the participants.
